located in the Pernem administrative region of North Goa. It is about 55 km from Panaji, the capital of Goa. The beach is visited by many international tourists, especially during the months of November to March. Arambol Beach has a distinctly Bohemian feel that is not found in other areas, such as Calangute, and therefore inevitably attracts many alternative tourists. The beach of Arambol is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa, with Vagator, Anjuna, and Palolem among other famous places. It is bordered by the Kerry beach in the north and the Mandrem beach in the south. Accommodation facilities
There are currently no major hotels here due to opposition and pressure from the local people. Accommodation facilities in this area are guest houses, houses, or temporary beach huts that are erected during the tourist season and removed at the end of the season. The local residents here have implemented standards for eco-friendly handling of the coast and surrounding areas so that garbage and filth do not spread.
Local Culture
The majority of the local residents are Hindus and then there are Christians and Muslims. The Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is the religious place of the Catholic people here. Mariam is also known as Sabin Mai in the local Konkani language. Like other places in Goa, the popular sports here are football and cricket.
